This week was good! :) We had many members feed us this week!!
We went to see Rumi this week and she invited us over for dinner. We had a great conversation about the scriptures. We also made cupcakes with her...as a surprise and she loved it!! She told us the last time we were there that she really loves to cook and bake. She wished she could make time for it in her busy life. So, we decided to have a spiritual thought and bake with her. :) It was great! I wish you could have been there to see her face. haha
The Mid-Point Meeting was fantastic! We had a meeting with all the trainees and trainers. We talked about what we can do to improve and do for the next 6 weeks together before the training ends.
We saw on Wednesday Anastasia and Maria. We went with Panagiotis and Georgia to go see them. We thought it would be a great idea for Anastasia and Maria to meet some of the other members in the ward and to gain some new friendships. It was a lovely evening!!
The following day we helped Leah in her garden. We pulled out weeds. And then she made us lunch...it was a lot of food!! We had no idea that she was going to cook for us because we had a dinner appointment right after with the new Swedish member. And so we ate a lot that day!! haha
We also went to visit a less-active named Fatemah. We did family history with her and it was amazing! She loved talking about her mother and her father...and all the memories she had with them. It was beautiful!!
We also had our family history class this week and that went well. A good group came! I was able to help Emad put his family on family search. He really loves it! He calls his mom and asks her about his family. Its just great!
We also got a call saturday night by Rosie. She asked us to go to her house and translate some of Alexis' homework. Alexis is five and in a Greek school. So, I translated what she needed to do. She had a greek book that she needed to read. So, Rosie asked me to read it to her to bed. So, I got to read a book to Alexis and it was sooo cute! She knows a little greek and so it was fun!
On Sunday we had Branch Conference. That was great! President Heder and Sister Heder came.
We had a great week!
Love you all,
Sister Ramsay
