Week 76

We had a really packed week!!
Monday:
We met with a Bulgarian couple and had a lesson with them and they told us we could come back to have another lesson. So, that was nice!
Tuesday:
It was Valentines Day so we heart attacked Rosie's door. And left Swiss chocolate for her:) We also visited Amanda. And we had District Meeting.
Wednesday:
We had family home evening with Rosie and that was a lot of fun to see her teach her daughter from the Book of Mormon.
We also went to go see the a referral we received from Rosie and he was happy to see us and told us we could come back since he was having somethings fixed in his house.
Thursday:
We went to see Antonia and shared with her a message about doing family history. We also saw Anastasia and her mother, Maria. We talked about family history as well and shared stories and pictures of our family history and they loved it. They will start doing family history with us! Which is exciting!
Also that evening we went to go see Panagiotis and Georgia. We had a birthday dinner with them. It was Panagiotis' birthday!
Friday:
We had service in the morning. And then we took a bus to Limassol to have exchanges with the sisters. I was with Sister Broekzitter and she is from Holland. We had a great time doing door knocking and visiting some members. While door knocking we met a few people who wanted us to come back.
Saturday:
We were still together as a companionship so we went to go teach one of their potential investigators. And on our way we met an old man that wanted to know more about what we do and who we are. So, he invited us to sit outside in his lawn and talk about what we belief in. We introduced the Book of Mormon and gave him one. We also talked about the Restoration and asked if the sisters could come back and he agreed. We also got to have a lesson with that potential investigator. Which was really nice! She was really sweet.
Later in the day we took a bus back to Larnaca and did finding there with the elders by the beach. And then we had the family history class. It went really well. After the class we went to see Rumi. She fed us dinner and we were able to share a message. Her daughter will serve a mission in England. And so that is exciting!
Sunday:
We went to church and both my companion and I gave talks on love and service.
After church we went to do beach contacting with some members. That was a lot of fun to be with the members and do missionary work together:)
We then left to have a lesson with the Bulgarian couple and a member that spoke Bulgarian to translate and bear testimony. It was wonderful to have a member there and see the connection they were able to make.
As soon as the lesson ended we ran over to the church to be picked up by Lucy (member) to go visit another member named Fatemah. Lucy brought dinner!! It was wonderful being able to be there with them and share a spiritual message. Especially since Fatemah had a a friend over and she had some good questions about us and the church. It was amazing!
We had a great week! I hope you all had a fantastic week!
Love ya all,
Sister Ramsay

Week 75

How is everyone?
It was a beautiful busy week!
We went to go do service this week, but we decided to go a bit earlier in the morning and see if we could help even more. And we were able to do a lot more and it was great! We bagged up oranges! There were so many boxes!! We were given at the end two full bags of oranges. We had told them we are just volunteering. But they insisted. It was a lot of fun!
Some of the members were sick this week. So, we went to go drop of a note saying how much we love and appreciate them. We saw Leah this week and brought her some cookies. She is just such a wonderful person! I love her so!!
We did the banner this week again. And this time I decided to bring Books of Mormon in Bulgarian, Russian, and Romanian. And we handed them all out. It was really  a great day! A lady even came up to us and asked if she could have a Book of Mormon in Bulgarian. And she asked us to come to her home and teach her of gospel. We were so excited! We will have a lesson with her and her family tonight. I know that God loves all His children and will prepare them to be ready to accept the gospel! I love the gospel so much!! It really blesses lives! I have seen it.
I love you all so much!
I hope you have a great week
Love,
Sister Ramsay

Week 74

This week we had Family Home Evening with a bunch of  members and we had invited some investigators. And it was really great! We also did more gardening for Leah and that was great! She also invited the elders and we all helped out and afterwards she had made us a massive lunch. It was fantastic!
We also got to see Rosie and Alexis twice this week! They have been really lovely! We got to have dinner one night and read the Book of Mormon together and the other day we had a mini family home evening. Alexis pulled out her barbies for us all to play. It was adorable! We also went finding this week and a bunch of people called us for the family history class we will start doing so that was really great!
We went down to Limissol this week for Zone Training. And that was really good!!! We were told that our mission focus is now on the members! And so we will be working with them a lot more! And so at the training My companion and I were asked to talk about Strengthening and Rescuing members. And how we can do it with more love and nurture. It was a really powerful meeting! We all loved the focus of what we will now be doing!  I have seen that when we love those around us as Christ would the friendship changes and becomes something more beautiful! I am excited to reach out more to the members:) I love them so much!!
We also got to go do the banner this week. And we had a few people ask questions and some good conversations! Church this Sunday was really nice! The testimonies were wonderful! The spirit truly was there!
I know this is God's work and that He truly cares and loves each one of us! I know our Savior lives and is by our side!
I love you all! Have a great week!
